Digg's gray plague returns!

Originally happened with the Bart Simpson's Heart Attack story, posted back in September, gray plague is a phenomenon in which all comments in a Digg story gets brutally buried. The phenomenon returned few hours back with the Digg is 2 years old today! post.

The most interesting fact about gray plague is that, the story seem to get infinite number of comments.The Bart Simpson Story is still getting [mostly irrelevant] comments after 68 days[ the newest comment gets dugg down mercilessly in a couple of minutes!] on air!.

At the time of posting, the phenomenon is still in progress.
